About Apex Universal Living

Kurt Kuwatch, Director of Universal Living, traces the beginnings of this specialty to the challenges he faced 19 years ago after a diving accident left him wheelchair bound and trying to adapt his own home. Kurt gives Apex Universal Living a unique perspective from first-hand experience.

APEX UNIVERSAL LIVING, is a division of APEX Restoration, providing full service renovations by offering an extensive range of custom accessibility modifications and aging in place remodeling based on universal design principles. We take care of each client as though they were our own family member. We know how important it is to get your independence and life back. We evaluate your constraints and needs through a comprehensive and in-depth interview process and on-site walk through. If applicable, we also work with your occupational therapist or physical therapist. We then conceptualize and creatively design a floor plan layout that best suits you, matching the design and products to your specific needs. As we begin the renovation project, we keep you informed each step of the way. Our professional staff manages your project from start to completion, while keeping your needs in the forefront. APEX UNIVERSAL LIVING will provide you with a peace of mind, allowing you to maintain your quality of life, while fulfilling your activities of daily living in your own home.

Apex Universal Living evaluates your specific needs through a comprehensive and in-depth interview process and on-site home walk through. During this process we are focused totally on your needs. In meeting with you, your family members and friends, attendants or occupational and physical therapists, we identify the constraints of your home design/layout and functionality that limit and inhibit your daily living activities.
